I was all set to send you that personal trainers Toronto info I promised on a special nutrient that can make a huge difference to your fat loss program, until I saw this video and decided I just had to share it with you.
It’s a mega movie star (and fitness freak) talking about his philosophy on life, success, and how to create in your life all the wonderful things you desire.
I really believe in constantly feeding my mind with positive, supportive thoughts. That’s why I urge you to watch this video in its entirety, and watch it several times…it’s that profound.
I’ve been a fan of Will Smith since watching him on ”Fresh Prince of Bel Air” as a kid. He’s come a really long way as an actor and a humanitarian, but I have to say this video surprised (and inspired) me quite a bit. Get a load of what he says about the treadmill…
If you like this kind of inspiration, you’ll LOVE my “Secrets of Supportive Eating” Seminar. It’s all about giving you the knowledge you need to make the changes that are necessary for you to succeed with your nutrition program.
We held our SSE seminar on Tuesday for a full class, and based on the feedback we’ve received, we may have to raise our prices!!
For a limited time, register for the March SSE at February’s prices, but act fast, this one will also fill up!
Ever since I announced my new Personal Trainers Toronto seminar, “Secrets of Supportive Eating” on Tuesday, I’ve been getting phone calls from people asking, “is this a good thing to bring my spouse/significant other to?”
You know what my answer is?
Heck, yeah!
So much of the recent research on the problem of weight loss has shown that having a good support system (sometimes referred to as “social support”) is a big key to success with your personal trainers Toronto fitness program and nutrition plan.
It can definitely be a challenge to make the lifestyle changes that have to happen if you’re going to see lasting fitness and fat loss results.
That’s why you need to be accountable to someone other than yourself.
“Going it alone” dramatically increases the odds of failing.
It’s just far too easy to rationalize and get away with not doing something (or doing something you shouldn’t) when you’re accountable only to yourself.
In fact, one recent study very capably demonstrated that weekly accountability can improve your chances
of success by up to 4200%!
That’s why I’ve decided to reach out to you and make you an offer you can’t refuse…
…bring a spouse, friend or significant other to our personal trainers Toronto “Secrets of Supportive Eating” and you can both attend the course for just $34!
One day you might look back at this evening as the turning point. I will be sharing the only personal trainers Toronto system for transforming your body and reclaiming your health, using strategies based in the physical AND mental aspects of weight loss success, discovered through years of helping people just like you achieve
their fitness goals.
There are many ways to get great support. You can Join a group, use a buddy system, or hire a coach to
keep you accountable.
But having the support of the people closest to you is pretty darn important too.
Join us for “Secrets of Supportive Eating”, and be sure to bring a buddy! Register here:
“The reason most people don’t get what they want is that they don’t know what they want!”- T.Harv Ecker
It’s here! 2010! I get excited this time of year, because every new year feels like a fresh start, doesn’t it? But the real question is: what do YOU want in 2010? What dreams do you allow yourself to dream?
Whether it has to do with your personal trainers Toronto fitness program, your career or your relationships, in order to make the most of the new year you need to get clear on your goals.
“Clarity leads to power.”
For your goals to have impact they need to be precise. If your goal is fat loss, you can have a target bodyweight, bodyfat percentage, or clothing size, just as an example. The more detailed you can be, the better. You need to be able to see yourself as though you had already achieved your personal trainers Toronto goal.
It is very important that your goals be realistic. It’s easy to be overly ambitious when you really want something, but you risk being disappointed and giving up when your results don’t meet your expectations.
If you have any questions about what is realistic for you, we’re here to answer those. We’re doing this process with all of our personal trainers Toronto members, and if we’ve been over this with you recently, now is a good time to review the goals we’ve set and write down five reasons why you want what you want.
“He who knows the ‘why’ can bear any ‘how’.”
It’s also crucial to pick measurable targets so we can evaluate your progress.
Once that’s done, however, STAY OFF THE SCALE.
It is not a reliable indicator of progress, especially in the beginning. Working out draws more water into your muscles, which means you could actually weigh more, even though you have less bodyfat.
Instead focus on things like how your clothes fit, changes in your energy, and improved strength or endurance. These are all really good indications of progress.
We typically do progress our personal trainers Toronto reviews every 4 weeks, because it’s enough time to see changes, but not so much as to lose track of what’s happening with your program.
Next, you need to have a timeline associated with your goal.
It’s not a good idea to leave it open-ended. If you can work it around a major event such as a vacation, or a wedding, even better. It helps to have something to shoot for.
It’s crucial that you allow yourself the room to make mistakes, especially if your personal trainers Toronto program represents a big lifestyle change for you. Strive for progress, not perfection. Recognize that there will be setbacks along the way, and be comforted in knowing that as long as you allow yourself the time, and consistently put in the effort, you will reach your goal.
The biggest difference between those who succeed and those who don’t is how they deal with adversity.
Fit people mess up, and then get right back on track, that’s why they’re fit! They don’t sit around feeling sorry for themselves, or wonder “why am I such a failure?”, and drown their sorrows in a bucket of ice cream!
If you had bad day, or a bad week – so what? GET OVER IT, get off your duff, and get moving again, you’ll be fine.
Persistence, that’s the key.
Ok, let’s recap. You’re going to:
1. Choose a goal that is realistic and precise.
2. Give yourself a reasonable amount of time to achieve it
and maybe work it around a vacation, high-school reunion, etc.
3. Allow yourself the room to make mistakes, and don’t let the
fact that you’re not perfect prevent you from getting what you want.
4. I haven’t said this yet, but WRITE IT DOWN!
Motivation experts agree that you’re much more likely to reach your goal when you put it on paper. It is not something to be uttered once, then forgotten about.
Focus on it. Look at your paper often, maybe even carry it around with you and every once in while glance at it and try to envision yourself as though you were already there. Talk to your friends and family about it like it were already a done deal.
Once it’s out there, the philosophy is simple…
…it’s much easier to be successful than to have to explain to people why you’re not!
That’s why I STRONGLY urge you to post you 2010 personal trainers Toronto goals (and any other goals you’d like to share) in the comment section below.
Let all of the Evolution Fitness and personal trainers Toronto community know what your planning to accomplish this year, and it will already seem that much more real to you.
I’m posting my goals, I look forward to reading about yours…
I sincerely wish you the best of success, and may your wildest dreams
come true in 2010!
“If you only focus on results, you’ll never see change, but if you focus on change, you’ll always see results.”
Happy New Year!
Just wanted to take a moment to share with you a few insights on what getting and STAYING fit can mean to your overall happiness and success in 2010.
That’s because what we teach here at Evolution Fitness is just as much about training your character, as it is your body.
Your mind is the most important muscle you must train if you want to reach your fitness goals.
The reality is MOST people will start the year with the best of intentions, but very quickly revert to old habits, and yet another year will pass without you experiencing the change in your life which you so badly want.
That is unless you implement these 4 critical “mental habits”, which will help you stick to your new year’s fitness resolutions this year:
1. Commitment. It’s not enough to want it, committing to it is something else entirely. Commitment means you make a decision to do whatever it’s gonna take to achieve your desired outcome. When you decide not to let anything stop you, guess what – you become unstoppable!
2. Priority. You know how, when going through the security measures on a plane, they tell you to put your mask on first before helping anyone else? In the same way, you’re no good to the people you care about if you can’t take care of yourself! YOU are the most important person in your life, and
nothing is more important than your health. Give your fitness program the priority it deserves, and everything else will fall into place.
3. Delayed gratification. This reminds me of one of my favorite lines from The Simpsons, when Mo gets a huge deep fryer for the bar that can “flash-fry a buffalo in forty seconds.” To which Homer replies “Forty seconds? But I want it now!!” It’s funny because as a society that’s kinda what we’re like! But when it comes fat loss, there is no quick fix, and anything that seems to work extremely well in the short-term, backfires in the long run. Anything that is worth having (like a lean, energetic body you can be proud of!) is worth putting in the time. Starting too fast, and not thinking about sustainable habits will be the #1 mistake that kills most new year’s resolutions this year.
4. Pain tolerance. “Comfort makes cowards of us all.” If you want results, you have to get outside your comfort zone. Although you must leave room in your plan to cheat, and nurture that playful side of yourself (we’re human, we gotta live!) there will be discipline involved. If you’re thinking you don’t have much of that, don’t worry, once you learn to harness the power of habit, it’s gets easier.
You must be able to master these if you want to see real, lasting change in 2010.
I bet if you were to reflect on any great success in your life, you’d recognize it came as the result of your showing some combination of these four elements.
And that’s what our “4-Week Transformation” Boot Camp is all about.
It’s about you becoming the change, and doing things differently because you want a different outcome.
It’s about personal breakthroughs…
Because, by the end of four weeks not only will you be doing things you never imagined you could do, but you’ll think differently, have a new found confidence.
We still have a few spots left for our January 11 camp, and don’t forget, the first session is on us!
I’ve got some pretty cool personal trainers Toronto content for you today.
We like to do things a little different here at Evolution Fitness, and a couple of weeks ago we held a very special client appreciation event that included a unique awards ceremony.
You see, we’re very proud of all our personal trainers Toronto trainees, and wherever possible, we like to recognize them for their achievements.
What I’d like to do for you is share a little bit about each award winner and give you at least one tip, or lesson from each success story on how they are changing their lives, which you can then take and apply in your own life to help you get that much closer to creating your own fitness success story.
Personally, I love hearing success stories, and learning about what successful people do.
I find it really motivating and inspiring, plus when you’re constantly focused on success you get more…well, success!
Kristyna Star, Most Dedicated Award
“I’m not gonna eat chicken breast and yams six times a day, and I still have to be able to go out and enjoy myself!”
I still remember Krystina telling me that the first time we met. I listened, smiled, and said “ok.”
The reality is, if you want long-term success with your fitness program you need to change your lifestyle. That being said, it’s about balance. Unless you are a competitive bodybuilder, being too extreme with your program is a flawed strategy that will backfire in the end. Hey, we’re people – we gotta live!
The Personal Trainers Toronto “Most Dedicated” award was chosen based on record of attendance, not missing workouts, overall program compliance, and performing training sessions at the appropriate intensity.
Krystina gets an “A” in all of these, and not surprisingly, she’s lost 25lbs. on our program.
What her secret? In a word, being disciplined to a schedule.
You see, as a busy executive, Krystina does not get a lot of free time…the key to her not missing workouts is simply to schedule them, and then stick to that schedule. She says, “if it’s on the calendar, and it’s scheduled, then it’s like an appointment that I would have for work, and it’s something I can’t miss.”
I’ll be frank, that’s how I do it too. When I plan out my week, the first thing that goes in my calendar is my workouts, and I treat it like any other appointment I would have with a client. Do you think I miss workouts? It happens, but it’s extremely rare.
Most of you reading this would NEVER miss an appointment for work, so why not keep an appointment with yourself? I mean, think about it…what’s more important than your health? The simple act of keeping this appointment, even just 3 days a week, can make all the difference when it comes to preserving your most valuable resource: YOU.
Jason Marshall, Most Improved Award
This one was kind of a “no brainer” to us. It went to the personal trainers Toronto trainee who faced the biggest lifestyle challenges, implemented the most significant changes, and therefore experienced the most dramatic results.
A friend, when Jason first walked through the door he tipped the scales at a massive 343 lbs, in fear for his health – and his life. Having lost almost 70 lbs. in six months (43 lbs. in the first 16 weeks), he is in a very different place today.
He shared that as a big guy, and a former athlete, his ego was his downfall whenever it came to starting a fitness program. Wanting to believe his abilities were greater than they were, he just tried to do too much, too soon, and frequently ended up burnt out, discouraged, or worse, with an injury.
The reason for his success is that this time Jason understands that he needs to be different. How? First, it’s a long term plan to be fit, and you gotta take it one step at a time. Second, you have to get outside your comfort zone to see progress. If your usual pattern is that you stop when things get tough, try it a different way, and keep going instead!
Bottom line, if you want a different outcome, you have to be a different YOU.
A touching moment for everyone was Jason saying that “this is probably the best thing I’ve ever done, to tell you the truth. If it weren’t for this program, I might not be here today, so thank you.” (Watch the video!)
Thank you Jason for inspiring us with your success, and remember – we’re just gettin’ started, pal!
Paul Perri, Client Of The Year
The Personal Trainers Toronto Client of the Year award has elements of the previous two, dedication, major changes, excellent results, but also reflected devotion to our program in the form of support, feedback, and referrals.
As a national director for a tech company, Paul has a lot of responsibilities, but has consistently gone out of his way to help us improve our program and grow our business. For that we are grateful.
The thing that stands out most about Paul is his level of commitment. Right from the beginning he decided it was BIG change he was after.
He had tried other programs in the past (and other personal trainers in Toronto) and been disapointed with the results. He knew his approach needed to be holistic, and include both nutrition and training protocols.
That’s where we came in.
In his own words: “I’ve worked with a lot of trainers in the past and didn’t get results. What I like about you guys is the education – I like to understand why I’m doing things.”
His secret? Paul does a little something every day that brings him closer to his goal. It’s not always a big, intense workout – even 30 minutes of walking or jogging will do the trick. It’s that daily focus, as much as the time that he spends with us that is responsible for his success. Every little bit counts, something is still better than nothing. It could be that little bit of light cardio, or saying no to that piece of cake at an office birthday party (which in Paul’s case is much less likely). : ) Regardless, get that daily victory.
As you can see from his photos, that mindset has served him well. Having lost 20lbs. and 6% bodyfat, Paul has a new body today.
Dream big, commit big, and take consistent daily action toward the goal. That’s what I’ve learned from Paul Perri.
Final Thoughts
If there is a common thread in these personal trainers Toronto success stories, it’s that each award winner has taken the time, and made the effort to adopt new, supportive habits around eating and exercise.
Your body and your health is a direct reflection of your beliefs and habits concerning food, working out, and your own worthiness. Anyone can have a lean, fit body, you just have to have the right habits.
Changing your habits is not always easy, but it can be very doable if you have the right guidance, education, support, and accountability.
If you want real, lasting change in 2010, we’re here to help. We’ve helped hundreds of people just like you change their lives through fitness, and we want you to be our next success story.
That’s why I really hope you’ll call me at (416) 220-7883 to discuss all that is possible for you to achieve, and schedule your complimentary personal trainers Toronto health and fitness consultation.
Happy Holidays everyone,

“Kids cannot learn, grow, and excel without having their basic hunger met.”
The line above is taken from my “victory speech” after successfully pulling a 28,000 lb. school bus approximately 50 ft. on a uphill grade in Yonge-Dundas Square this past Saturday.
“Nutrition is the foundation of all health and fitness. Nutrition is the foundation for success.” I continued.
My school bus pull was intended to raise money and awareness for The Toronto Foundation For Student Success, an organization which helps provide healthy breakfasts to over 90,000 Toronto students each school day.
In Toronto, 1 in 3 kids live in poverty, which means that almost half go to school on an empty stomach. In some areas, that number is more than half, and fully another third do not eat lunch either! In Toronto! This is not a third world country. The problem of student hunger is widespread in our city and threatens our communities.
“You can overcome. You can be and do more than what people expect. You don’t have to fall into anyone else’s plan for your life. Whatever you can conceive in your mind, and believe in your heart, you can achieve. I just proved it! Don’t let anyone tell you different!”
It’s amazing how well people listen to you when you’ve just finished pulling a bus!
What the Toronto Foundation For Student Success does is just help us to help less fortunate young members of our community to have the same basic opportunity to learn, grow, and excel, which many of us take for granted.
Thanks very much to all of you for your generous support! We don’t have all the numbers confirmed as of yet, but early reports suggest we exceeded our $15,000 goal!
Thanks to our sponsors: Evolution Fitness, Red Juice Media, Telehop, Quiznos, Flip Video, Zip Car, the [clinic], Top Form Fitness, Florida Jack’s, The Whole Foods Market, and more!
Thanks to all the great entertainment acts, Magician Dan Trommater, and musical acts The Times, Najuah, and Shalli. Also, can’t forget our guests, our provincial strongman competitors and the lovely Talia Russo.
And a special thank you to our amazing co-hosts CP24’s Amber Payie and ET Canada’s Rick Campanelli!
Less than two weeks left until Pulling For The Hungry, and we here at Personal Trainers Toronto could not be more excited.
On October 10, in Yonge-Dundas Square, I’ll have an opportunity to do something pretty special, which is pull a school bus in front of thousands of spectators and a throng of media, to raise money for a very worthy cause – hungry children in Toronto schools.
Almost half of Toronto kids go to school hungry, a fact which I find completely unacceptable!
In a recent TV interview I talked about the double whammy of how, before this all got started, I was nowhere near the kind of shape I would need to be in to be able to do this, and I would really only have about 15 weeks altogether to get ready for pulling a bus.
I’ve always thought that 190 lbs. of bodyweight vs. 28,000 lbs. of school bus is a really cool metaphor for the fight we face with eliminating child hunger in our city. But what’s even more cool is how the process of getting ready to pull the bus has helped me further underline the importance of this issue.
My point is this: the foundation of my being able to transform my body once again and prepare for this event is proper nutrition, and that’s exactly what these kids need – if they’re gonna have a shot.
Without proper nutrition, not only would I not have the energy I need to train, but I would not have been able to gain the muscular bodyweight and strength that I have over the past twelve weeks.
It’s putting nutrition first that enables our Personal Trainers Toronto students to consistently and dramatically transform their bodies, lose weight, and transform themselves, their ability to do, to act, and their outlook on life.
Nutrition is numero uno, number one, the big cahuna when it comes to changing your body, reclaiming your health, boosting your energy – and yes, maximizing academic performance!
We must address nutrition first, before all else, as this is where your body gains the basic fuel it needs to function. How far would you get if you drove your car without gas? How much would you remember if forced to learn while starving?
The same energy and ability to focus that we require as adults to perform better at our jobs and enjoy a better quality of life is exactly what kids need to get the most out of their education.
Without this there is no foundation for success.
Without the right nutrition there is no foundation for success. This is equally true for your weight loss program, your overall health, and a child’s ability to grow and develop.
Put first where it belongs, make nutrition a priority – in your life, in your child’s life, in our community. Please give generously to those who need it, because when you do, you’re giving hope to kids who face hunger, poverty, and violence at school everyday.
I wanted to share something a little different with you today. It’s a story of what being an underdog has taught me about life and overcoming obstacles.
During my competitive days in strongman I was known as The Giant Killer.
This was undoubtedly a reference to my being “undersized” in a sport where no weight classes exist, and most of the athletes are over 6′ tall, and weigh anywhere from 265 lbs. to the mid-300’s in some cases.
Standing 5′7″ tall and weighing a modest 220 lbs. (during my competitive days), I was able to hold my own against, and even defeat much larger men.
But being a Giant Killer always had much deeper significance for me beyond my competitive exploits, one which has greatly impacted my life…and still does today.
I never thought of myself as being less capable than anyone else, and the times I was not successful, I never used my size as an excuse, or let that be the reason that I couldn’t do something.
I would just have to work that much harder than everybody else, be that much better trained, because win or lose, it was my preparation, combined with my ability to execute on that day that would determine the outcome. Nothing else.
In short, I just plain refuse to accept limitations for myself.
No one else can tell you what you can or cannot do. That’s entirely up to you. Yet, too often we chose to listen to others’ opinions of what is or is not possible.
Being a giant killer simply means you make your own rules.
If you’re not supposed to able to do something, you do it anyway!
A giant killer eats obstacles for breakfast! Because each obstacle overcome represents a step in the direction of your desired outcome.
A giant killer is self-reliant, determined, focused on his/her goal, and never, ever, ever, gives up.
But perhaps most importantly, a giant killer is realistically optimistic, and will never count him/herself out when facing a challenge, no matter what the odds are!
Bottom line, you have to be willing to lose in order to win…and you can’t be afraid to try.
But here’s the best part: I believe that we all have it within ourselves to be more than we are, to be greater than just the sum of our parts.
I submit that the little voice in your head that tells you “you can’t do it” is not your true voice.
It is programming you’ve received over a lifetime, something you’ve been conditioned to believe which is inherently meaningless.
It’s a safety mechanism. It’s your mind’s way of protecting you, by keeping you within your “comfort zone”. Because in your mind, if you never do anything difficult, you can’t get hurt.
It’s a petulant child, and deserves about the same amount of respect.
Starting today, whenever you hear this voice you’ll respond with four little words, “thank you for sharing”, and you’ll just go on about your business. Don’t allow it to have power over you, or disguise your true voice, the real you that is waiting to shine!
Try to do at least one thing today that frightens you, and feel how it empowers you, and energizes every fiber of your being.
Then, join me in my mission to create an army of giant killers, of people who are willing to live with passion and create true joy in their lives – in the face of so much hardship.
You don’t have to pull a school bus for charity like me. Find your true voice, face your own private Goliath – and you’ll go far.
I think Henry Ford said it best:
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, either way, you’re probably right.”
Live Strong and Healthy,
Conor Kelly

P.S. Don’t forget to pledge me as I am set to pull a school bus in Yonge-Dundas Square on October 10 to raise money for the Toronto Foundation For Student Success! Pledge online at:
“Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”

“Never, never, never, never give up.”

A little bit about my workout this weekend, and how it applies to your fat loss program.
It was a beautiful, sunny Saturday in Toronto. I was geared up for a great training session with my old friend, and Toronto personal trainer Josh Hewett of Top Form Fitness.
After a thorough dynamic warm up, we spent some time playing around with Josh’s 250 lb. atlas stone, and did a few log presses, then we were ready to get to work.
Today’s mission: pull heavy stuff. No, really.
We used Josh’s weighted sled to simulate the vehicle pull I’m training for. We fixed a rope to one of his heavy tractor tires and got the harness out.
The street was clear with a slight uphill grade that would add to the challenge. You see, what’s great about doing a sled pull is the sled does not roll, and therefore doesn’t pick up momentum – especially when it’s really frikin’ heavy!
First set: 750 lbs. Challenging, but not challenging enough. I’ve gotta pull a 28,000 lb. bus in six weeks! I need to be tested, BIG TIME.
Next set: 850 lbs. A bit better, but still very doable. At this point we’re using a combination of plates and “people weight”, and we’re all out of plates! We figured out how to up the challenge by using a bigger person, and some kettlebells.
Third set: 1,000 lbs. Ok, now things are getting pretty serious. 1,000 lbs. being dragged uphill is a pretty good test! I manage the feat, pulling over a pre-determined course. I stall – once, but keep going. A BIG success, now I’m feeling pretty good. We’ll feature this video pretty soon.
Final set: 900 lbs. Hey, like I said, I’m feeling good from my success with the previous set, although the legs are a bit shaky, I decide to really drive it home, this time using a 100 lb. sand bag instead of 200 lbs. of person weight.
What follows is one of the hardest pulls I’ve tried recently. Already fatigued, about half way through the lactic acid build up is complete, and it’s getting pretty hard to move my legs – or arms. I fall, but keep going…I fall again, and get up again…I stall, but start again…and this continues for a good three minutes at least. Many times I heard my mind say “stop!”, but I pushed the thought aside and kept going. I had made up my mind, I was gonna finish the course – no matter what!
You see, I’ve been down many times in my life. I’ve had some major disappointments and failures. If there’s any one thing I credit for my success as an athlete, and as a business person, it’s not any particular skill set or talent which I possess, it is my persistence. I just keep going, and I’m not afraid to mess up.
When I fall, I get right back up. In sled pulling, and in life.
Would it surprise you to know that the wealthiest and most successful people in the world, when asked, consistently rate persistence as the number one trait required for success?
Many people, when faced with an obstacle, simply give up. Often, they don’t realize how close they were to actually achieving their goal, if they only would have pressed on.
When it comes to your fat loss program, the reality is you will encounter obstacles, and you will struggle at times. The most important thing is that you don’t give up, and that you get right back on track when you make a mistake.
If you’ll do just this one thing consistently, your goals are a foregone conclusion.
Never give up, always move forward. You absolutely CAN do it.
Live Strong and Healthy,
Conor Kelly

We had a blast last week with our Personal Trainers Toronto charity boot camp sessions in Ramsden Park. All of our participants truly enjoyed the workout and together we raised $260 for Sick Kids Hospital!
I made a video with some highlights which I think turned out pretty cool, and showcases the teamwork aspect that we emphasize very well! Watch it here:
It was great to see so many of you pushing your own boundaries and going all out!
Which brings me to today’s little kernel of wisdom:
“If you’re not growing, you’re dying.”
So much of our success in life comes down to a person’s ability to act in spite of fear, discomfort or just not being in the mood to get things done.
We sometimes get stuck in our “comfort zone”, even when that comfort zone really isn’t all that comfortable.
Too often we wait for life to present us with some adversity before we’re literally forced to grow as people in order to overcome it.
Today’s lesson: Don’t let life make the rules.
YOU make the rules!
Believe me, I know what it means to be unhappy with where you are now…
But I also know that life gets REALLY good when you learn to get uncomfortable.
All of my greatest achievements, from my athletic victories, to my weight loss success, meeting and marrying my wife, the success of my business, have all, in one form or another, involved me repeatedly doing stuff I either was afraid to do, did not want to do, or did not feel like doing at the time.
I really believe that this one habit can mean the difference between a life of mediocrity and a life filled with joy, success, fulfillment and abundance.
“If you’re only willing to do what’s easy, life will always be hard. If you’re willing to do what’s hard, life gets much easier.”
Embrace the things that are difficult because being unhappy about your current condition is ultimately the hardest thing.
Get outside your comfort zone!
Take at least one action each day that challenges you to move forward, and the universe will move to support you.
Try it – you’ll see.
Live Strong and Healthy,
Conor Kelly
